COURSE DESCRIPTION:
All Crimes All Threats
This course provides an in-depth understanding to highway criminal interdiction. It is designed for patrol officers that have a working knowledge in the criminal interdiction world and are seeking to complete more thorough investigations and reports.
In a world that is ever-changing and full of trends, criminal interdiction skills utilized by officers are always being updated. Subject matter experts will provide recent, real-life experiences and examples in various criminal interdiction cases.
Officers will learn to utilize more extensive investigation skills from the time of apprehension to filing/interpreting warrants to criminal case follow up and interagency information sharing.
This course will better equip patrol officers in the understanding of criminal interdiction cases and what tools and resources can be shared to secure comprehensive investigations.

PREREQUISITES:
A working knowledge of highway criminal interdiction as a patrol officer.
All WSP personnel are required to have completed the Introduction to Highway Criminal Interdiction course along with region approval.
