The ​Wisconsin State Patrol Academy​ provides diverse training for State Patrol personnel, federal and local law enforcement officers, and state employees. The facility is used by other agencies for training programs as well. The Academy is located on 50 acres of the Fort McCoy Military Installation and is accessed from Highway 21 between the cities of Sparta and Tomah, Wisconsin.​​​​​

​​CONGRATULATIONS TROOPERS​​​
On Friday July 26, 2024 the Wisconsin State Patrol celebrated the graduation of 23 new troopers.

The 69th Recruit Class completed their 26-week training with 12 new troopers.
The 70th (Lateral) Recruit Class completed their 16-Week training with 11 new troopers.
They now begin their 12-week field training at their assigned posts.
