Course Overview:

Are you looking to become a master at traffic law? This course is designed to build upon basic traffic enforcement skills learned during the DOJ’s 720-hour Police Academy. It is primarily intended to provide enhanced skills and increased efficiency for those officers who already conduct traffic enforcement measures. Students can expect an exhaustive look into traffic related statutes, discussion on optimum enforcement strategies, and recognition of contributing factors and/or common violations precipitating traffic crashes.

PREREQUISITES:

This course has no prerequisites.

Computer is highly recommended as much of the material will be conducted utilizing online resources (statutes).
