TECHNICAL CRASH INVESTIGATION-ll

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Topics of instruction include:

  • Technical aspects of traffic crash investigation
  • Investigatory principles
  • Fundamental concepts of traffic crash reconstruction
  • Introduction in basic physics and analytical methodologies of crash reconstruction

OBJECTIVES:

The goal of this course is to introduce the student to reconstruction and prepare them for the crash reconstruction course.  This vehicle dynamics style course is math, trigonometry, and physics intense.  The student should have basic mathematical skills prior to attending this course.  This is a prerequisite course to crash reconstruction.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Student must be a LESB certified Law Enforcement Officer
  • Successful completion of Technical Crash Investigation I
