The WSP Honor Guard Unit serves as a tribute to sworn personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice and on other occasions represents the solemn commitment made by all responders. The Honor Guard Unit also pays tribute to deceased active and retired personnel.
An elite team consisting of sworn members, all having received extensive training in marching, team movement, casket movement, flag folding, and rifle drills
Maintain a high degree of professional demeanor, physical fitness, impeccable uniform standards, and embody the ideals of Integrity, Service and Pride
Provide rifle bearers, pallbearers, and ceremonial presentation of national, state, and WSP colors
Participate in parades, as well as local, state, and national police memorial services and other special events
